|
본 연구는 2000년부터 최근까지 20년간 발표된 국내 치매 노인 가족 부양자를 대상으로 한 중재 프로그램을 적용한 총 23편을 대상으로 각 중재 프로그램을 연구논문 관련, 대상자 관련, 중재내용 관련, 그리고 중재효과 관련의 각각 구체적 특성요인별로 분석하여 중재 프로그램의 유용성을 제시하였다. 연구에서 치매 환자의 가족 부양자 대상으로 제공된 중재 프로그램은 복합적 중재의 형태로 대부분이 정보적 지지, 정서적 지지, 사회적 지지 영역 등을 포함하고 있었고, 이들은 주로 1회당 90-120분, 8주간, 훈련된 연구자에 의한, 집단 제공방식으로, 공공장소에서 이루어졌다. 연구들은 심리적 영역의 효과를 결과 분석에서 주로 다루었으며, 결과변수 사용 빈도와 유의미 결과변수는 부담감, 우울, 대처전략의 순서로 나타났다. 치매노인인구 증가에 따라 치매 노인 부양에 많은 부담을 안고 있는 가족 부양자들을 위해서는 다양한 공적 지원의 확대와 함께 실질적으로 치매 노인 가족 부양자들에게 지원이 될 수 있도록, 대상자와 중재 특성이 고려된 근거 있는 프로그램이 양적으로뿐 아니라 질적으로도 체계적 틀 안에서 개발되고 확대되어야 한다고 본다.

Purpose: This study was a systematic review to assess the contents and effects of an intervention program for family caregivers of the elderly with dementia in Korea.
Methods: A literature search was done using Medline, CINAHL, RISS, KISS, and DBpia to identify studies reported in English or Korean from 2000 to 2021.
Results: A total of 1,162 articles were searched; finally, 23 articles were used in the analysis based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The most applied intervention contents were knowledge provision and emotional support. Fourteen articles (60.9%) reported on complex interventions, including emotional, social support, relaxation, and various activities. The most frequently measured outcome variable in the reviewed literature was “burden,” followed by “depression” and “coping strategy.”
Conclusion: The review results can provide basic data for establishing evidence and suggesting directions of interventions for family caregivers of the elderly with dementia.
